We are proud to introduce a new series of workshops in London for October 2016 -

The Pedagogic Series:  10th-21st October 2016

Week 1: The Pedagogy of the Neutral Mask

Create your own praxis of "neutrality," and discover your own "mask beneath the other masks" as a teacher of the fundamental journey.

Week 2: The Poetics of Embodiment

Journey to the heart of mime! Create your own pedagogy of embodiment, and learn to lead others into the study of life.


 -Over two weeks (take either one or both for a reduced fee) students can delve into the pedgaogy of LISPA. Full details of the course content and dates and fees can be seen here.

This series is intended both to introduce new students to some of the most important topics in the pedagogic tradition of Lecoq/Copeau/Bing, and to provide alumni of LISPA and other schools and courses based in this tradition with the pedagogic insight that will help them to lead their own students in a discovery of this rich curriculum.

Suitable applicants will be students, practitioners and teachers in theatre and dance, and practitioners in drama therapy, movement and dance therapy.

These two one­-week workshops will be led by Amy Russell, one of LISPA’s two lead teachers and deputy pedagogic director.
